Acting Program at ZIMA

At ZIMA, we offer a 6-month intensive Acting Program designed to train aspiring actors in the art of performance, expression, and screen presence. With a structured curriculum based on Stanislavsky’s “Method Acting” model, students receive expert guidance from industry professionals and gain the confidence to take on roles in films, television, theater, and digital platforms.

Program Overview

This conservatory-style program helps students develop their craft, creativity, and on-screen presence through a combination of practical training and theoretical study. The course includes acting techniques, movement, voice training, and camera-facing skills, preparing students for a successful career in the entertainment industry.

  • Method Acting training based on Stanislavsky’s model
  • Voice and speech development for clear and impactful performances
  • Improvisation and scene study to refine acting skills
  • Body movement and expression techniques for character development
  • Camera-facing and screen acting training
  • Action and dance training, including film fights and choreography
  • Professional showreel creation for industry exposure
  • The syllabus is based on Stanislavsky's "Method Acting" model.
  • Exercises include Sense Memory, Observation, Imagination, Improvisations, Voice & Speech, Diction, Action Problems, Movement, Animal Study, Monologues, Scenes, Film Orientation, Play Back, Acting Analysis, Film Fights & Dance.
  • The last week of the course will be devoted to practical training of facing the camera leading to a professional show reel of their work for the Film Industry. This is an excellent opportunity for students to express their talent in front of industry experts from Bollywood and other regional film makers of Indian film industry.
